Elisabeth's work navigates the realms of life, expression, and emotions, drawing inspiration from various cultures, histories, languages, and beliefs. Her work is based on introspection and societal exploration, celebrating the complex layers that form our shared existence.
She studied Toy Design at the Prague Secondary School of Applied Arts, briefly delved into Religion, Ethics, and Philosophy, spent many years pursuing a musical career before returning to painting and sculpture, which she continues to pursue to this day. Currently, she works in her studio at Dům RADOST in Žižkov.
Fascination with spirituality, philosophy, and faith permeates her work, leading her to introspective themes and journeys of inner growth. She draws inspiration from religious spaces and reflects on the driving forces of human faith. Each creation becomes a canvas for contemplation, a space where threads of different beliefs intertwine, and new possibilities emerge in the interplay of culture, history, and the ever-evolving landscape of human experience.
The media she chooses, including acrylic paint, oil pastels, and ink, find their canvas on a spectrum of materials - from raw, unprimed linen to soft, translucent batiste. This deliberate selection adds further dimensions to her artistic expression.
